First of all, I am going to finish my Discarded entry if it kills me. And get through finals. Even if I don't go on to the next round, I'm determined to finish this one.
On to the bigger news:
I'm going to be in my first ever art show on May 27th. I got asked by a woman I used to have classes with if I knew anyone who did sculpture for this show featuring all kinds of media, including literature (because we're both English majors). I told her I did origami, and she said that'd be great, and bam, I am now in an art show. I'm bringing those dragons I did last year, the set in all different colors, and I'm making new ones as well. I'm also apparently allowed to sell them, if I like, so I have to figure if I do and what the prices would be. If I have time, I'd like to do at least one like I did Izra, with the words, so it's got the literature tie-in. I'm really excited about this.
Does anyone have suggestions for me? Just dragons, or do I branch out and do other monsters, or should I try smaller or larger models?
