Firewind Round 3 - page 3

So I'm sure I'll find a ton of things wrong now that I've finally finished this page and put it online, but at this point I don't care. I've got the story moving, and that's what counts. Onwards through the abandoned...er, it used to be a sewer of some kind, I think. Whatever it was, it's got signs of civilization written all over it. Are they, perhaps, moving towards a city?

So I downloaded about a bazillion fonts and decided I needed to play with a few of them. So far, only one made it into this comic, but we'll see what happens later. Also, Farrell isn't pulling numbers out of the air. Underground is always fifty-five degrees (Fahrenheit, that is). But Phena's wet and hardly dressed and scared and underwent a sudden temperature change, so she's probably feeling like icicles are about to form.
Also, I like Farrell's wet hair, but drawing Phena's hair wet is a nightmare.

The underwater bit made me want to draw mermaids and I don't have time for that.

The thing in the cave is a manticora. That might be important later.
