This is Shankar Rose Sunset Marigold Luna Woodstock Georgette Karolyne Varuka Lucy BLue Melody Amhe Delany-Weiser-Vallette, but she goes by Shankar. She came from a story that this page calls "The Consequences and Triumphs of Thinking Too Hard," but I remember it as "Snorking with Starkey." At any rate, she was not the protagonist but she was the most interesting character. The narrator turned into a wyvern due to time travel or something and fell in love with Ringo Starr or something. I wrote stupid things. A lot of stupid things.
Shankar's parents are hippies, could you tell? The story was set in modern times, but you wouldn't know from looking at her. She's got a collection of customized watches, and I believe she tends to wear one on each wrist, or perhaps two on the same or something like that.
Maybe she'll make a comeback. I can see her actually being a time traveler instead of a side character to a vapid protagonist.
